Navel oranges are named for their belly button like formations on the opposite side from the stem. As a general rule, the bigger the navel in the orange, the sweeter it will be. Valencia oranges have a distinctive bright coloured juice that other citrus fruits don’t have. As a result of this attractive colour many bottled orange juice are made from Valencia oranges because the bright colour of the juice from these oranges.
